The April Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at 5:30 PM at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri (17384 Chesterfield Airport Road). Students from local universities will be giving 5 to 10 minute oral presentations summarizing their research project, methodology, and results-to-date. The material for these presentations can be from independent studies, paid or unpaid internships, senior projects, graduate thesis or dissertation work, or other geoscience-related student research work.  It is planned that a small honorarium will be provided to the best presentations.  Judging will be based on good science practice, documentation, quality control, relevance to geoscience, and presentation. Cost will be $25 per member, $35 for non-members, $10 for students and those between jobs.
